This degree is a natural choice for applicants who want a wide-ranging qualification that gives them a good-grounding in business and management fundamentals. But equally, we aim to equip them with the skills to be able to bring innovation, creativity and strategic thinking to organisations that they may choose to work for. The range of careers open to our business and management graduates is hence as wide as their own imaginations can take them.
In practice, there are a wide range of career opportunities for BA (Hons) Business Management graduates, including both public and private sector employment opportunities in specific vocational areas such as marketing, IT, HRM planning, and accountancy and managerial trainee posts. Graduates can progress into becoming human resource managers, operations managers, brand managers and business development managers among many other career pathways.
We have September start dates for this course. There are two semesters each year. Students complete 2 x 30 credit modules each semester, enabling students to concentrate on fewer modules at a time. Modules are assessed in different ways, e.g. essays, problem questions, case studies, reports, presentations, and examinations.
Fees for 2016-17
UK/EU: £6,000 per year, equating to a total of £6,000 over the 1-year duration of the course.

UK/EU: £6,150 per year, equating to a total of £6,150 over the 1-year duration of the course.
Applicants normally require a Pearson or SQA HND in Business. An equivalent Level 5 qualification awarded by bodies such as ABE, CIM, NCC, ATHE may also be accepted.
Comparable overseas qualifications, such as the Chinese Dazhuan Diploma, are also accepted for admission onto the course.
Applicants who have successfully completed the first 2 years of a 3-year degree, or 3 years of a 4-year degree may also be eligible.
Applicants for whom English is a second language require IELTS at 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each category).
This course is designed for holders of a HND in Business or equivalent qualification. Students can obtain a full honours degree in one year.
You will learn how to analyse an industry and understand how it is structured, the basis of its competition, how its supply chain works and how a company can develop a competitive strategy to succeed.
You will also develop skills in writing business reports, delivering clear and concise ideas through presentations, and thinking critically and creatively.
The course equips graduates for an entry-level position in a wide range of areas within the business world.
