Introduction

With one of the lowest tuition rates in Ohio, Sinclair Community College is consistently ranked among the top and is committed to providing quality education.

Sinclair’s student to faculty ratio of nineteen to one is among the lowest at any Ohio college. Sinclair was founded as a YMCA college in 1887, and serves over 30,000 each year, with over 330 full-time students attending Sinclair in 2015.

Sinclair is located in located in downtown Dayton, Ohio. Dayton is the sixth-largest city in Ohio, with a population of approximately 150,000; the surrounding Dayton metropolitan areas has 800,000 residents. Home to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, Dayton is known for aviation and aerospace and boasts significant research and development in the aviation and aeronautical engineering fields.
