Who We Are
We are a private, coed, four-year liberal arts college. We're a community of more than 2,100 students who come from 36 states and 29 countries and represent 38 religions and denominations. We employ 175 full-time faculties including NASA and NSF scientists, award-winning composers and writers, and national experts in a wide range of fields.
Where We Live
Our hometown – Fargo-Moorhead – is a growing community with nearly 30,000 college students, a hopping arts and entertainment scene, and a dizzying array of internship and employment opportunities.
How We Learn
Concordia offers more than 50 majors, including 15 honors majors, as well as 12 pre-professional programs in medicine, law, engineering, dentistry and more. Hundreds of internships and cooperative education opportunities in town and around the world provide plenty of firsthand professional experience.
Where We Go
Our globalized curriculum combines significant study away opportunities and instruction in seven world languages. We are a nationally recognized leader among undergraduate institutions for the number of students who gain global experience abroad.
What We Do
More than 100 student organizations – newspapers and literary magazines, volunteer groups, religious organizations and more – make it easy to get involved and stay active. More than a third of our student body participates in one (or more) of our 19 music ensembles, and nearly a quarter of our students participate in competitive athletics.
What We Achieve
Concordia students have achieved an 88 percent acceptance rate into medical school (in 10 years surveyed). Ninety-eight percent of surveyed Concordia graduates have jobs or have been admitted to graduate school within six months of graduation. Five of our students have won prestigious Fulbright scholarships in the past three years. In recent years, Concordia has garnered nine of the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships.
