Inscape Education Group

Introduction

Inscape believes in offering value driven products to ensure the diverse growth of the creative sector and industry at large.

We have an established institutional culture that is unique to Inscape and its students. Our culture is built on a value system that encourages quality, authenticity and relationships. We strive for this to be reflective in all areas of our institution.

As an organisation, we promote inclusivity and access to higher learning. For every twenty students who enrol with us, we are able to offer partial or full scholarships to assist deserving candidates who otherwise would not have the opportunity to embark on their chosen careers.

We adopt a unique student-centred teaching and learning approach aimed at lifelong learning. Our lecturer-student ratio is low to ensure individual attention beyond the immediate academic needs of our students. We understand the dynamics of a small class culture and maximize the output of the student within this environment. Students are, however, expected to take responsibility for their own learning and strive to ultimately become independent learners.

We instil a teaching approach that is grounded in the principles of Work-Integrated Learning (WIL). Graduates who leave us are confident to enter the business world. We adopt a business approach in our curriculum and classrooms to prepare graduates for both the expected opportunities and challenges in the working world.

Continued learning

Access to further learning is high on our priority list and we are proud that more than two-thirds of our students who enter into our Higher Certificate programmes go on to be accepted into qualifications at either Inscape or other accredited and registered higher education institutions.

Accreditations

Inscape is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) as a private higher education institution. Our Bachelor of Design Degree, Diplomas and Higher Certificates are accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and registered by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
