THREE CAMPUSES

A choice of where to study – Dunedin, Central Otago or Auckland

Dunedin

One of this country’s best centres of learning and home to 25,000 students – approximately 20% of the city’s population. A lively and vibrant city, there’s something for everyone. We’ve got great shopping, awesome gigs, heritage architecture, theatres, art galleries and museums, along with plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants offering food from around the globe.

Cromwell – Central Otago

Central Otago is unlike anywhere else in the world. Striking landscapes of mountains, rivers, lakes and tussocks provide a playground for the energetic, inspiration for the artistic and a lifestyle most can only dream of. And our strong connections with local businesses mean there’s plenty of work experience available too.

Auckland

Located in the heart of downtown Auckland, you’re never far from the fun of New Zealand’s largest city. Our team of top quality teachers and support staff come from a range of cultural backgrounds. The majority of programmes in Auckland are currently only available to international students. Classes are taught in English but there are staff available who speak other languages.

FLEXIBLE STUDY OPTIONS

A range of delivery methods to suit your learning style

We’ve developed a range of delivery methods to suit any learner and pathway options so you can start from any level!

On campus: Via face-to-face teaching, online resources, work placements and student-managed projects.

Online: Fully online programmes mean you don’t need to attend classes on campus, as content can be accessed online. You may have online tutorials at certain times but these can also be recorded to listen to later. Online learning is ideal for learners who are in work and need the flexibility of online study.

Distance: Various formats specific to programmes including block courses (on campus), local work placements, local tutorials and online learning.

Work-based: Where problems or needs of your workplace become the focus of your research and learning – available in specific postgraduate programmes.

Full-time: Requiring a time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week, similar to full-time work.

Part-time: Many of our full-time programmes can be completed part-time over a slightly longer duration, so you can fit your study around other commitments.
