Introduction

Chief Executive/Principal’s Welcome Message

Welcome to the IMPERIA Institute of Technology and congratulations on making the right choice to join us. IMPERIA stands out as a specialist institution that is constantly in demand by the construction & property industries for its graduates. We are proud to be focused on providing niche courses that meet the specific industrial needs. As such, companies are constantly knocking on our doors for our Quantity Surveying, Real Estate Management & Construction Management graduates.

Malaysia, one of the few in the world, is racing ahead to become an industrialized nation. Undoubtedly, the built environment and property development industries are instrumental as the driving forces to contribute towards realizing this aspiration. What our country needs is a workforce that is well prepared in the contemporary construction and property environment and graduates who are well experienced and exposed to contribute effectively.

IMPERIA is committed to maintaining our standing as the preferred institution with a conducive environment for personal growth and development of career-ready graduates. The courses undertaking today have gone through extensive explorations to determine its relevance to the industry’s needs. The exposure received from partner universities and invited speakers, as well as the Study Tour aboard Program, will transform students into global students competent to be on par with international counterparts.

Apart from these, we are proud of the efforts we have in place to prepare you to be a career-ready graduate from the onset. The Work-Based Learning which you have been hearing about, ARIEL (Academic, Reinforced, Industry, Exposure, and Learning), VALUE (Value Added Life Useful and Education) and SCOPE (Short Course for Professional Enhancement) are also implemented at IMPERIA. Committees were formed and empowered to create and organize engaging sessions that would mold and develop Built Environment Professionals at IMPERIA. Their activities will focus on providing exposure to the real working world and developing your skills to meet their expectations.

At IMPERIA, students will go through a balanced life and are not only limited to activities within the classroom only. Extra or co-curricular activities complement the curricular activities of the college experience. Students Representative Committee (SRC) provided other outdoor activities for students. SRC promotes co-curricular opportunities and encourages student participation in all aspects of campus life. The curricular and extracurricular activities function together to provide the total experience for the students. It is important that a healthy balance exists in a student’s educational life. We also seek to instill social responsibility through these activities and encourage beneficial and purposeful community service.

Hence, once again I must say congratulations on making the right choice and welcome to the IMPERIA Institute of Technology.
