Bachelor of Science in Architecture
B.Sc. Architecture provides students with knowledge and skills for the creative process of planning and designing, in urban and rural areas. You will learn about architectural tools, as well as a variety of interdisciplinary subjects related to architecture and the planning process.
Examples of covered topics include the fine arts, architectural and town-planning theory, the history of architecture, the economics of building investments, basic management methods in design processes, with emphasis placed on BIM (Building Information Modelling) techniques, state-of-the-art computer technologies, and software aiding with an aim towards best case design scenarios.
The subjects covered in lectures and design seminars are intended to implement knowledge permitting the formation of adequate and practical design skills. The design approach is enriched with the issues of strategic management required in each design undertaking – one of the most important issues in the architect’s professional life, allowing to create of buildings possessing not only additional architectural quality but also cost-effectiveness alongside meaningful consideration for the environmental, health and overall well-being.
