Introduction
The dual-degree Engineering program combines the strengths of a liberal arts education and specialization in a field of engineering, with stronger training in basic science and a broad education including communication skills.
Students in this program spend three years at W&J and two years at an engineering school. Upon completion of the program, the student receives a Bachelor of Arts degree from W&J and a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field from the partner school.
Partner schools include Columbia University, Case Western Reserve University, and Washington University. Students may also complete their engineering studies at another school with an engineering program.
Students must complete W&J's degree requirements, but some requirements can be fulfilled by transferring courses back from the engineering school. No more than three courses may be earned off campus in the major.
The Engineering program is associated with the Department of Physics.
