Bachelor Degree Animation

Bachelor of Animation gives you an introduction to all common animation techniques, including cartoons, puppets, cut-outs and computer animation. The animation education at Høgskulen i Volda is internationally known, and many of the Norwegian successes in both the animation film and advertising industry are created by former students. The education is also known for the film festival Animation Volda which is held every autumn.

The animation program is an integrated three-year practical-theoretical program, and qualifies you for professional work with animation as an independent expression and animation in combination with news, information, advertising and entertainment. Student productions form a large part of the practical work, and this is mainly where the practical learning takes place. In connection with the practical tasks, you will receive individual guidance and follow-up at all stages of production.
