Bachelor in Business Administration

The Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) program at Valahia University of Targoviste is designed to equip students with a solid foundation in business and management principles. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications to prepare students for dynamic roles in the business world.

• Increasing the role of economists specialized in the management of economic activity, trade, tourism, and services, which derives from the need to satisfy the requirements of the domestic and international market;
• The more intense attraction of personnel with higher economic studies within small and medium-sized companies with domestic capital;
• Communication in a language of international circulation;
• Development of scientific research activity to increase visibility both at the national and international levels.
• Promoting quality and efficiency in the education process;
• Adaptation of the educational offer to the requirements of the society in which we live and to the current structural evolution of the Romanian and European business environment;

The specific objectives of the study program:

• the development of the educational system to be continuously compatible with the one practiced in the European Union so that the graduates are recognized as European specialists;
• satisfying customer requirements by using a high-performance educational process, based on new information and communication technologies;
• developing skills to communicate in a language of international circulation;
• attracting students to scientific research activity through involvement in national and international scientific projects;
• the training of specialists with higher education in the economic field specialized in business management and administration;
• the training of specialists in the field of entrepreneurship;
• the formation of scientific research skills, by involving students and master's students in mixed research groups (teaching staff - students).

Professional skills:

• C1 – Collection, processing, and analysis of information regarding the external environment-enterprise/organization interaction
• C2 – Assistance for managing the activity of the entire enterprise/organization
• C3 – Administration of the activity of a subdivision within the structure of the enterprise/organization
• C4 – Assistance in the management of human resources
• C5 – Use of databases specific to business administration

Transversal skills:

• CT1 Application of the principles, norms, and values of professional ethics within the framework of one's own rigorous, efficient, and responsible work strategy.
• CT2 Identification of roles and responsibilities in a multispecialized team and the application of communication techniques and effective work within the team.
• CT3 Identification of continuous training opportunities and effective utilization of learning resources and techniques for personal development.
