The Programme

The activities of Management Engineers are the purwiev of those changes and innovations affecting more and more the enterprise systems and their actual, management and, ICT-based components. By the same token, this Course provides the cornerstones to educate and train highly-qualified technical professionals, themselves able to promote technological innovation. As they go on in their studies, they will be able to promote technological innovation, as well as design and manage complex systems.

The main knowledge areas a first-degree Management Engineering graduate will deal with concern the setup and management of production systems, business logistics and planning (supply and movements of goods, transports and distribution), business quality and security, the marketing of industrial goods, budgeting and cost accounting.

The cultural profile is characterized by an interdisciplinary, flexible and systemic mentality: the functions that the management engineer is called to perform concern the monitoring of the innovation and change processes that characterize the business systems in their physical components to an increasingly significant extent, organizational and informational.

At the same time, the degree course provides the basis for the preparation of highly qualified technicians who, through the continuation of the studies, will be able to promote technological innovation and to design and manage complex systems. The main areas of competence of the three-year Management Engineer degree are business economics, business management, management and organization of production systems, business logistics (procurement, material handling, transport, and distribution).

Double Degree options

The Degree Course in Management Engineering also includes a double degree course in collaboration with its prestigious partners:

• the New Jersey Institute of Technology (USA). This course provides for attendance of the third semester of the course at the US University.
• the University of San Marino
