Curriculum
Customize our flexible psychology degree to suit your interests.
You may complete up to two internships as a psychology major, gaining real-world experience in a workplace, service agency, research lab or other professional setting related to psychology.
USI's psychology program lays a strong foundation for many types of careers. You can use your psychology degree to go into counseling, rehabilitation, research, teaching, human resources, consulting, sales and many other professions.
The psychology program offers flexible course options that cover a wide range of academic and career interests. Some of the specialized areas of psychology you will have the freedom to explore include:

Students may major or minor in psychology at the University of Southern Indiana. The major in psychology culminates in a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
The Bachelor of Arts degree requires 12 semester hours in the same foreign language or demonstration of proficiency at that level of study.
