The University of South Carolina's Bachelor of Science in Retailing offers two distinct areas of concentration: Retail Management and Fashion Merchandising and Digital Innovations. Both prepare students with specialized knowledge and experience supported by a strong business foundation with classes such as accounting, economics, business law, communications, and computer applications.
Retail management presents a broad scope of product sales and customer service, including everything from e-commerce to sales strategy in a limitless variety of categories. Fashion merchandising and digital innovations, on the other hand, is dedicated to helping students gain a focused understanding of the business of fashion — from Fashion Product Analysis to Visual Merchandising to Fashion and the Law.
