How to Apply

We encourage you to learn more about the School of Music programs by connecting with the Director of Music Admissions or a faculty member prior to applying for admission.

To be admitted to the School of Music undergraduate programs, you must also be admitted to the University of Redlands.

In addition to filing The Common Application, a Music Application and audition are required. The School of Music can only inform you of your audition results or scholarship recommendation after you have been officially admitted to the University of Redlands.

  • An introduction of yourself
  • Answer the question "Why do you want to attend the University of Redlands?"
  • Announce the title of your piece and the name of your composer before performing each of your two selections
