BCom (Econometrics)
The purpose of this qualification is to provide graduates with knowledge on the working of economics and economic policy in South Africa and the foundations of econometric models. After completing this program, candidates will be able to do a prognosis, analysis and forecast of the South African economy.This degree will provide the graduate with the necessary practical skills for using economic and econometric models that management or government can apply in policy. Candidates will be able to do basic statistical analyses of economic trends and to apply the necessary computer and communication skills.
