Introduction

The studies are of interdisciplinary character, and they are addressed to those who are interested in the knowledge on the security of people in the European Union, political and social problems, issues connected with immigrants and human rights as well as criminology and forensic science, penalty law, the psychology of witnesses’ testimonies as well as protection of people and property. The educational program combines academic knowledge and practical skills. The candidates should be in good health and physical condition – the course of studies covers classes in a martial art, training in shooting, and conditioning camp. The classes are run by prominent specialists and practitioners, from detective studies, clinical psychology, and forensic toxicology.

The graduates will be prepared to work in the units and organizations that influence widely understood security. Depending on the chosen specialty, they can apply for a job in the agencies to protect people and property, detective agencies, special forces, emergency management, prison service, municipal police, border guards, and police.
