Note: For the 2+2 study model courses, the student will spend the last two years at our UK campus. For the 4+0 study model courses, the student will spend the entire degree program in Ningbo, China with 'study abroad' opportunities from year three.
Course Overview
This degree course is designed to produce high-quality graduates who command a sound technical knowledge of the broad aspects of computer science.
You will gain an appreciation of current computing practice and skills that you can apply immediately after graduation.

For domestic students, the course structure follows the Chinese higher education system. It is based on a four-year programme with the possibility of spending two years at the University of Nottingham, UK campus.
For international students, with relevant qualifications, the course structure follows the UK higher education system. It is based on a three-year programme with the possibility of spending two years at the University of Nottingham, UK campus.

The Department of Computer Science offers BSc Hons Computer Science and BSc Hons Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence.
Out of 119 graduates from the Department of Computer Science in 2023, 108 chose to continue their studies, and 6 went directly to work.
Among students going into further study, 72.2% were admitted into the top 50 universities worldwide. In addition, 4 graduates were admitted into the PhD program at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
