Note: For the 2+2 study model courses, the student will spend the last two years at our UK campus. For the 4+0 study model courses, the student will spend the entire degree program in Ningbo, China with 'study abroad' opportunities from year three.
Course Overview
This course provides a comprehensive undergraduate education in finance and accounting, coupled with a fully integrated understanding of the theory and practice of management in different organizations. In particular, the degree provides a strong interdisciplinary core of material in accounting and finance theory and practice, focusing on the modern firm and its financial environment.
The program has been accepted into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Programme. The curriculum of our program incorporates a significant portion of the CFA Programme Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK), is closely tied to the practice of investment management, and is helpful to students preparing for the CFA Program exams.

Course structure
The degree is offered as a three or four-year program depending on your entry qualification.
- For domestic students, the course structure follows the Chinese higher education system and is based on a four-year program.
- For international students, with relevant qualifications, the course structure follows the UK higher education system and is based on a three-year programme.
Preliminary year module
The preliminary year is designed to help you develop your English language skills so that you can make the most of your degree program.
This special English language program designed by the English for Academic Purposes experts at the University's Centre for English Language Education is carefully integrated with academic content modules so that you are prepared fully for years two to four of your degree program.
