It is designed to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in a sales-oriented career. The professional selling track is more people oriented as highlighted by the professional selling and sales management classes.
A sales professional works to sell a product or service on behalf of their company. This could be in any type of industry ranging from vehicles to pharmaceuticals. Location options are endless as you could be in the office to serve clients or travel to wherever the clients are.
Our program in Professional Selling teaches students sales techniques, how to analyze customer needs, and how to build strong relationships with clients. Students will also learn how to use technology and other tools to enhance their sales strategies.
This concentration is unique because it focuses on preparing students for sales careers in a variety of industries, such as technology, finance, healthcare, and retail. Graduates will have the skills necessary to succeed in a variety of sales roles, such as business-to-business sales and account management.
By choosing this concentration, students will be well-prepared for careers in sales. They'll learn how to identify customer needs, build relationships, and close deals effectively. They'll also gain experience using multiple technology tools to enhance their sales strategies and give them an edge in the market.
