What makes our course different?
The flexibility of UNE’s Bachelor of Accounting will help broaden your horizons. With our course you can:
- Choose to study finance, management, marketing, human resource management, economics, or other units of your choice.
- Target your career by taking elective units from other disciplines across the University. For example, pursue forensic accounting by studying accounting systems design; focus on IT systems by choosing from the computer science suite of units; or take screen or media studies units to open up possibilities to work in the film industry.
- Qualify for admission to the major Australian professional accounting bodies for full membership and continuing professional development.
- Qualify as a tax practitioner with only two additional units of study.
- Fast track your degree and complete the Bachelor of Accounting in two years full time or four years part time if you choose elective units rather than an additional major.
- Choose part-time study and fit the degree around your time constraints with up to 10 years to complete the course.
