Introduction

Governments alone cannot manage our most pressing food, agricultural and resource challenges in the future, where the wise use of our world’s limited resources will be key to sustainable development and wealth. In the agricultural and food industries, this will often require changes to laws, public policies and the organization of markets – which is where your skills and experience as a FARE student will be crucial.

Through applied economic analysis on market impact and society, exploration of the economics of the agri-food system and dynamics of international trade and more, the skills you acquire throughout the curriculum and co-op will prepare you to be an expert in global issues and ready to tackle them head-on.
