Introduction
Web applications are one of the dominant areas in the IT industry today. The rapid development of cloud technology means that more and more applications previously installed on computers are now accessible from a web browser. This specialization aims to present methods of creating modern web applications, both from the client layer (frontend) and the server layer and business logic (backend).
A lot of emphasis is put on using solutions commonly used in IT companies, such as REST architecture, modern JavaScript frameworks, or presenting the possibilities of cloud technologies. Thanks to this, after completing the specialization you will easily find yourself in modern programming teams.

First Year of Study
The first year of studies is dominated by subjects that, irrespective of the chosen field of study, provide a broad horizon of thinking and an understanding of the concepts and basic issues in a given field of science. As a result, you will acquire knowledge and skills that will make it easier for you to find your place in many different professional areas in the future and prepare you to undertake interdisciplinary projects, which are nowadays particularly important and appreciated on the job market. Beginning in the second semester, classes introduce content specific to the Computer Science major in increasing detail.

Second Year of Study
In the second year, subjects concentrating on the chosen field of study are introduced into the program. They enable students to deepen their knowledge and acquire competencies necessary for understanding and practical use of IT knowledge in various spheres of professional activity. Third Year of Study
In the third year of study, in the 5th semester, you will complete your studies in web application design, which in practice will already allow you to undertake work in this area. In the 6th semester, you can choose a second specialization that will shape your professional profile.
Artificial intelligence and data science
Data processing has long moved far beyond simple Excel sheets and even traditional database systems. Want to learn how to teach a computer to distinguish between a terrier and a bulldog, or write a program that will recommend a movie to watch tonight? Or are you interested in predicting the future? These and many more examples of practical applications of artificial intelligence in everyday life can be found in this specialization!
Designing mobile applications
Mobile devices are now an integral part of many people’s lives, and it’s hard to imagine devices without apps written for them. In this specialization, you will learn how to create applications for different platforms and different technologies. You can develop in a practical way the knowledge gained during the UX and PM specialization or expand your technology portfolio obtained during the Web Applications specialization. Be mobile-first with this specialty!
Fifth Semester
| Sixth Semester To choose one of the two specialization paths.
