Introduction

The Graduate in Tourism Management has the skills to manage and direct organizations dedicated to tourism operations with a regional, national and international scope, through service, effective planning, leadership and collaborative work, likewise, he is capable of generate profitable tourism projects in a sustainable manner, by identifying the actual and potential natural and cultural resources that a territory has; all this supported by research, the use of marketing and updated technologies, under a sense of social responsibility.

Work field

The Graduate in Tourism Management may practice the profession in the following areas:

  • Hosting companies.
  • Food and beverage companies.
  • Travel companies.
  • Nature, cultural, health and sports tourism companies.
  • Congress and convention companies.
  • Theme parks.
  • Tour service operators in general.
  • Government agencies in charge of tourism, at the federal, state and municipal levels.
  • Consulting and advisory companies.
  • Official and non-governmental tourism organizations.
  • Tourism research centers.

Admission profile

Desirable characteristics of the applicant:

  • Interest in working professionally in tourism.
  • Interest in administrative sciences.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Basic research skills.
  • Communication skills in English, equivalent to a TOEFL level of 350 points or more.
  • Ease of communicating orally and in writing.
  • Service attitude.

Curriculum

Costs and fees
