Introduction
CLEF stands for Corso di Laurea in Economics and Finance; it is an international undergraduate degree course, entirely taught in English and open to Italian and international applicants. It lasts 3 years and leads to the title of Bachelor's (1st-cycle degree).
Where is it based?
You would be studying at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Bologna, one of the best Economics School in Italy within the oldest University in the western world (est. 1088 a.C.).
You will live in a city, Bologna, known all over Italy and abroad for its vibrant atmosphere, rich in history but also innovation, and considered one of the most student-friendly cities. It's a large city but still livable for students, and it offers different experiences and high quality of life. The degree program in Economics and Finance aims to provide students with a solid foundation in the dynamics of modern economic and financial systems, in line with the highest European and international standards.
The Bachelor's in Economics and Finance is designed for students seeking a career with an international dimension in diverse fields and industries. Graduates in Economics and Finance are employable as junior economists, financial analysts, and consultants - also with managerial responsibilities - in economic and financial organizations, in the business world, in banking and insurance, in investment and consulting firms, in government agencies and authorities, in international organizations, NGOs and non-profit organizations.

International Talents @Unibo: scholarships for international students a.y. 2024/25
The University of Bologna awards 80 new scholarships to deserving international students who wish to enrol in first, single, second cycle (Bachelor’s or Master’s) degree programmes in the academic year 2024/25.
Scholarships have a value of € 4,500 gross and include a full tuition fee waiver. These grants are awarded for one academic year, based on SAT and GRE test scores and the verification of financial status.
