The fundamental assumption of the Administration study program is the synergy of knowledge, skills and competences from various disciplines, and necessary to play an active professional and social role at work in the structures of local government and government administration, in structures that create and support entrepreneurship and social activity, as well as perform tasks in the field of protection of public safety and order.

Available in the version of alternating education (free dual studies in the afternoon and Saturday version).

Students and graduates of all fields of study have the opportunity to obtain teaching qualifications, entitling them to teach in schools of all types, in accordance with applicable law.

Graduate profile

A graduate of the Administration major acquires knowledge and skills in the field of social sciences, in particular administration sciences and legal sciences, which will provide him with professional preparation for professional work in the structures of local and regional government administration.

Completion of the Administration major is the right way to acquire or supplement knowledge and skills for people who plan or have already connected their professional lives with bodies performing tasks in the field of security and public order (police, rescue services, military police and others). This allows for appropriate preparation for both young people and people over 26 who want to retrain in the direction of administrative work (e.g. due to the end of military service or work in other uniformed services).

In this field of study, competences related to the everyday practice of ensuring public safety and order, as well as the issues of states of emergency, in particular crisis management and counteracting threats of a local and regional nature, are acquired.

Thanks to the acquired knowledge and acquired skills, graduates of studies in the field of Administration can get employment in the following institutions:

• public sector (army, police, emergency services, military police);
• commune, poviat and voivodeship offices and their subordinate units;
• foundations, associations, social economy entities.
