Additional Program Options
If you are interested in both computer science and mathematics, UAlbany also offers a BS in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. If you want to further specialize in Data Analytics, you can pursue the BS in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics with a Data Analytics concentration.
Accelerated Undergraduate/Graduate Option
Interested in earning a graduate degree? Apply to the combined undergraduate/graduate program in your junior year and, if accepted, begin taking graduate-level coursework earlier than you would normally. Because you’re permitted to double-count up to 12 academic credits, you’ll complete your combined program in only 5 years. Plus, these 12 credits are billed at the undergraduate tuition rate. Program Outcome
This bachelor’s program will teach you to design, build, and test sophisticated software systems and install them on computer platforms; work with and design software systems involving databases, modeling, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, communication, and information retrieval; and solve problems by working with programming languages, data structures, and algorithm analysis.

Bachelor of Science
