If you are interested in both computer science and mathematics, UAlbany also offers a BS in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. If you want to further specialize in Data Analytics, you can pursue the BS in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics with a Data Analytics concentration.

Accelerated Undergraduate/Graduate Option

Interested in earning a graduate degree? Apply to the combined undergraduate/graduate program in your junior year and, if accepted, begin taking graduate-level coursework earlier than you would normally. Because you’re permitted to double-count up to 12 academic credits, you’ll complete your combined program in only 5 years. Plus, these 12 credits are billed at the undergraduate tuition rate. This bachelor’s program will teach you to design, build, and test sophisticated software systems and install them on computer platforms; work with and design software systems involving databases, modeling, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, communication, and information retrieval; and solve problems by working with programming languages, data structures, and algorithm analysis.

Bachelor of Science
