Overview
The programme aims to create well-rounded corporate executives with professional ethics and social skills that are of value to future employers, particularly in the area of communication, corporate social responsibility, investor relations, diplomacy, public relations, integrated marketing, and publicity and event management. The course provides students with a framework for understanding communication theories and processes in an organisational context. Key research, communication and media-handling skills are taught to enable students to handle challenging real-world projects from communication to delivery and subsequent evaluation.
This programme will train students to analyse corporate communication issues from the academic and practical perspectives and train students to communicate effectively in the business world, be it local and global. Apart from this, students will be exposed to communication management and creative problem-solving strategies. Students will also be able to understand the role of ICT in corporate communication and use ICT to address corporate communication issues.
Students will also be introduced to the concepts and principles of human behaviour, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism, the media, management, design, and information technology. The lifelong learning skills provided by the programme enable the students to critically, objectively and analytically address complex problems or issues so as to work independently and manage time effectively.
The aims, objectives and learning outcomes are made known to the students via briefing and brochure distribution during orientation week. Internally, brochures of the programme were distributed to the lecturers, and a poster will be posted on the notice board. The information is also posted in the faculty's website.
Journalism

Overview
The programme aims to create well-rounded journalists with professional ethics and social skills that are of value to future employers, particularly in the area of media, communication, diplomacy, public relations and publicity. The course provides students with a framework for understanding journalism in a social platform. Key research, communication and media-handling skills are taught to enable students to handle the challenging world of journalism and the media industry.
This programme will train students to analyse journalism issues and techniques from the academic and practical perspective and train students to be an effective media specialist in the world of information, local or globally. Apart from this, students will be exposed to communication management and creative problem-solving strategies. Students will also be able to understand the role of ICT in journalism and use ICT to address journalism issues.
