Introduction
It aims to train highly qualified specialists in the field of administration and public policy. Graduates of this specialization will be licensed in administrative sciences, with a specialization in public administration.
Through the curriculum, the bachelor's degree in Public Administration in our faculty has elements common to all profile faculties, but also has specific elements. The most important specific element is related to its profile, which is broader, including both training in the field of public administration and in the field of public policy. This ensures a complex training of specialists who will perform positions in public administration at various levels (from the commune to ministries and other central bodies of administration), as well as in other public or private structures of public interest. We are considering the functions of secretaries in territorial administrative units, civil status referents, inspectors in different fields, social assistance referents, in departments for public relations, human resources management, administrative litigation, housing, experts and advisers at different levels in matters of public administration, directors of ministerial offices, etc. Also, in public or private structures of public interest that require specialists in the field of public administration (insurance companies, health insurance houses, pension houses, funds and agencies, non-profit organizations, etc.). To these are added the advisory activities in matters of public administration and public policies and the administration of internal and / or external programs in this field. The faculty, having a highly qualified teaching staff, ensures a complex training of its graduates, teaching legal disciplines (administrative law, constitutional law, civil and civil procedure, financial and fiscal, etc.), economic (economics, finance accounting, public sector economics, budget and budget accounting, etc.), managerial (management of public organizations and institutions, human resources management, public strategies and policies, social policies, etc.) and socio-human (theory of public administration, sociology, demography). Training is also provided in the fields: statistics-mathematics, office automation, informatics, public relations, etc. Within the Public Administration field, full-time courses (with a duration of 3 years) and distance learning (with a duration of 3 years) are organized. The disciplines provided in the curriculum are grouped into three categories: 1. Compulsory subjects 2. Optional subjects 3. Optional disciplines The training of students is done not only through courses and seminars but also through compact periods of productive practice, effective in various public institutions, which allow their direct contact with the various problems they will face in their future work.
