Degree in History

The History course offers two qualifications: Degree and Bachelor. In addition to training graduates in History, who work mainly in public and private basic education, the course trains bachelors in three distinct lines of work: historical research, archaeological research and historical cultural heritage. The solid theoretical and practical training of our students enables both graduates and bachelors to enroll in master's degrees in History and other Human Sciences, providing a considerable contingent of professors at university level, not only in History courses, but also in Education Faculties , Archivology and Museology. In addition, graduates of the course are able to work professionally in archival and museographic institutions, as well as in archaeological excavations and other activities of a historical and cultural nature.
