Degree in Philosophy

Philosophy studies and reflects on the broader sense of reality and its different approaches: culture, common sense, science and techniques.

To make this theme understandable, the Course presents the most important issues of Logic, Metaphysics, Theory of Knowledge, Philosophy of Science, Ethics, Political Philosophy and Aesthetics, based on the reading of classic texts by great thinkers: Plato, Aristotle, Saint Augustine , Thomas Aquinas, Descartes, Hobbes, Hume, Rousseau, Kant, Hegel, Marx, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Sartre, etc.

UFU offers this course in the morning and evening periods, with annual admission through selection processes. Its duration is four years, and can be concluded in up to seven years. The student can choose to simultaneously attend a Bachelor's and a Licentiate's degree or just one of these.
