Introduction
The offer of training in Psychology through the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Catholic University of Portugal (FEP-UCP) is justified insofar as it is linked to the mission of the University and corresponds to a training project that is affirmed by a standard of substantial quality . This quality is based, first of all, on an epistemological matrix based on a vision of the human being as a being in permanent development, inserted in communities and social groups that shape him but over which he also exerts his influence, acting for this very reason. building your own existence.
The teaching of Psychology at the Catholic University is also differentiating due to its aspect of promoting the global training of students , through individualized monitoring , a set of academic and extracurricular activities , designed specifically for the development of personal, academic and professional skills.
Second, quality in the way the study plans of this training project are conceived, articulating the requirements arising from the application of the Bologna Declaration with the recommendations registered in the European Framework for Psychologists' Training , seeking that the training in Psychology provided by FEP- UCP adopts a training model identical to that already in force in several European countries.
