Bachelor's Degree in International Relations

Those interested in studying for and obtaining the diploma of Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the Antonio de Nebrija University must be candidates with a great interest in the international reality, considering it to be essential in the development of society, and have an interest in social issues and policies, interest and respect for other cultures, dynamism and adaptability, and open mind, a restless and proactive spirit, intellectual curiosity for the acquisition of new knowledge, independent but at the same time capable of working in a team, communication skills, respect for Human Rights and equality between people.

• SC5 Identify and properly classify the actors of international relations, as well as their evolution.
• SC6 Be able to select, organize and use information and data of interest for the analysis of the international situation, using various sources.
• SC7 Know and understand the creation process of international organizations, their operation and limitations with special attention to the European Union.
• SC8 Understand and analyze the international economic structure, taking into account both the flows and the trends that characterize it.
• SC9 Know and understand, using analytical criteria, the main elements that define the foreign policy of the States, especially Spain.
• SC10 Have the ability to evaluate and analyze the fragmentation of the international system in different geopolitical areas, identifying the elements that make them up, as well as the dynamics of cooperation and conflict present in them.
• SC11 Be able to know and analyze international cooperation in its different dimensions.
• SC12 Appropriately use the conceptual framework of the study of international conflicts, and correctly apply the typologies of international crises and conflicts.
• SC13 Identify the elements that make up the international information system and understand the role of the media in the creation of international public opinion.
• SC14 Know the treaties and the international legal context and know how to work effectively in it.
• SC15 Know and value human rights and existing instruments for their protection, as well as their contribution to coexistence both nationally and internationally.
