The Bachelor of Journalism provides a solid academic, critical, rigorous and plural training in the Media and in the areas of Communication of public and private organizations. Graduates are trained to act in the various hierarchies of journalistic management, in each of their specialties and media: television, radio, audiovisual, graphics and digital. The Curriculum has a strong focus on multiplatform new writing and transmedia narratives that creatively integrate long-standing journalistic competencies with digital technologies applied to the professional field.
Through agreements with large journalistic media, students make direct contact with innovation in the sector and professional work. The career is enriched with conferences and workshops by prominent journalists and figures of national and international endeavors. The classrooms, laboratories and radio and television studios of the UCES Production Center (ProdUCES) become true newsrooms where students produce content according to each medium, linking theory with intensive practice.
