The Department of Civil Engineering offers a full-time undergraduate programme leading to the award of Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) which is designed to prepare students to become Civil Engineers who are able to plan, design, construct and maintain civil engineering facilities such as buildings, bridges, foundation, highways, water supply systems, sewerage schemes and other form of infrastructure. The program is also designed to provide students with the educational base to progress to Professional Engineer status as well as to undertake Master of Civil Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy from UNITEN and other reputable institutions of higher learning.

The Department of Systems and Networking of COIT offers a high profile Computer Science undergraduate programme which leads to the award of Bachelor of Computer Science (Systems and Networking)(Hons). This programme is designed to prepare students for professional careers by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills in the area of communications and networking, operating systems, mobile and embedded technologies, computer security, artificial intelligence and other related areas.

The PEOs are supported by having a programme structure which has a balanced distribution of core engineering and elective courses, related non-engineering courses, adequate exposure to laboratory work and professional engineering practice. The BEEE programme is a 4-year or 8-semesters programme, with a total of 127 credit hours.
