Campus Features

The facilities of the Intercontinental University of Business cover more than 74,100 m2 throughout Galicia, fully available to our students.

Classrooms, workshops, multicampus libraries, study rooms, auditoriums, and other facilities for educational use make up the entire network of facilities. In terms of social life, you can enjoy social spaces, cafeterias, game rooms, a gym, soccer, and futsal fields, a basketball court, a fronton court, and extensive garden areas.

All of this is complemented by the most advanced technological and multimedia resources, along with an innovative virtual campus designed with students in mind.

Institutional Headquarters in Santiago de Compostela

The central services of UIE are located in Santiago de Compostela, one of the cradles of universities in Spain. The building of this administrative headquarters, recently renovated, is located in the heart of the city's historic center and is part of the characteristic arcades of Santiago de Compostela.

A Coruña Campus

UIE's A Coruña campus is comprised of a complex of buildings near the city center, which includes:

University residence of Pontevedra

The university residence in Pontevedra is located in the city center and provides accommodation for students. It offers the following features:

Capacity for 129 residents.
44 double rooms and 41 single rooms.

Ample landscaped green areas for the enjoyment of residents.

Admission process

1. Register to apply

2. Prepare the documentation

This is the documentation that you will need for the application for admission, and that you can prepare:

Documentation for Degree:
Photograph and ID or passport.

Certification of the grades of 3rd and 4th of ESO, 1st and 2nd of baccalaureate (the grades obtained so far).

Your academic record if you have already started your university studies in another center or if you opted for a higher level training cycle.

Accreditation of your level of English (Cambridge, Trinity, British council, EOI, TOEFL,...) and other merits.

Proof of payment of test processing fees (€100, non-refundable).
Documentation for Master:
Photograph and ID or passport.

University degree or proof of application.

Complete academic record.

Accreditation of qualification in case of possessing it.

Updated curriculum vitae.

Proof of payment of test processing fees (€100, non-refundable).

3. Complete the application

Once you register, you will receive an email with the next steps to complete your application for admission, and attach the required documentation.

4. Take the admission tests

Once we have received your application and evaluated your file, we will contact you to carry out the admission tests:

Skills questionnaire: logical, verbal and mathematical reasoning.
General entrance exam (aimed at analyzing the skills of written expression and orientation to the business world).
English level test (only if you have not provided supporting documentation).

5. Take the personal interview

The personal interview aims to get to know you more. Know your interests, your concerns, why you want to study at UIE and what your expectations are.

Only those candidates who have passed the written tests will be presented to the personal interview, and it will be face-to-face at the UIE Campuses or by videoconference.

6. Pay the reservation of place

Pay the reservation of place. Once your application has been completed and validated, you can reserve your place to obtain the admission letter and guarantee your place.

If you come from another degree, once the place has been reserved, you can request the recognition of subjects.

7. Final process

Formalize the registration:
From UIE we will contact you to inform you about the deadlines and process that you will have to follow for the formalization of your registration.
Sign the apprenticeship contract:
Once it is official that you are part of the great UIE family, you will have to sign an institutional learning contract, as part of the entry and validity requirements in the institution. This contract establishes the specific conditions of the relationship between the institution and its students, regulations, procedures and the ethical commitments of both parties.

From UIE we are committed to investing 15% of our income in the scholarship program. We know that by combining your talent with the most innovative training and the necessary means, we can build together the society of the future!

Scholarships and grants for undergraduate students

Scholarships for Excellence

The Excellence Scholarships reward students who are a true example of effort and talent, regardless of their economic or family situation.

The objective of these scholarships is to recognize the effort and stimulate students in the constant search for excellence, determination and improvement.

Talent Scholarships

To facilitate access to university degrees, this type of scholarship takes into account, in addition to the academic record of the candidates, their economic and family situation. To this end, a scale has been established that determines the criteria for its concession.

Scholarships and grants for master's students

Its objective is to reward the effort and academic trajectory, as well as the search for excellence during master's studies, regardless of the economic situation of the applicant. It is our recognition to those students who are an example of determination and overcoming.

Scholarships for Excellence

The Excellence Scholarships reward students who are a true example of effort and talent, regardless of their economic or family situation.

The objective of these scholarships is to recognize the effort and stimulate students in the constant search for excellence, determination and improvement.

Talent Scholarships

To facilitate access to university master's degrees, this type of scholarship takes into account, in addition to the academic record of the candidates, their economic and family situation. To this end, a scale has been established that determines the criteria for its concession.

Exponential Challenge Master Scholarships

UIE announces the Exponential Challenge with the aim of facilitating students' access to their university master's degrees through a challenge in which participants will develop innovative, disruptive solutions with real application on a chosen theme. Up to 5 Exponential Challenge Master scholarships will be awarded.

Bonus Plan

In addition to our scholarship and aid program, at UIE we have designed a wide range of bonuses. Our goal: to facilitate our students' access to the innovative training they deserve.

Students who opt for the single payment in the first 30 days from the start of the program will have a bonus of 2% on the amount of the academic fee.
Students with certification of degree of disability equal to or greater than 33% have a bonus of 10% on the fees of the academic fee.
Family Bonus at the UniversityThe second and successive relatives have a bonus of 10% in the academic fee, as long as both are still pursuing their studies. This bonus applies to first-degree relatives: fathers, mothers, children, siblings and spouses.
Alumni Bonus
Alumni of both IESIDE and UIE, and their first-grade relatives, have an 18% bonus on the academic fee. They must prove their membership of the Alumni Association.
Large Family Bonus
Large families of general regime have a bonus of 5% on the academic fee. Those of special regime, of 10%.
UIE has signed collaboration agreements with multiple associations and professional associations, so that entities and individuals belonging to these groups can bet on their development under preferential conditions.

Financing ABANCA Estudia

ABANCA helps those people who want to build their own future at UIE and contribute to society as a whole, in which we work daily in the ABANCA Estudia program.

These are financial products with very favorable conditions so that the only concern of the student is their training.

UIE ABANCA Degree Loan Estudia

If you are going to study a degree at UIE, ABANCA has developed the UIE ABANCA Estudia Degree Loan. This is tailored to your needs as a student and covers the full tuition fees.

Postgraduate Loan UIE ABANCA Estudia

If you are going to study a master's degree at UIE, you can opt for the financing of ABANCA Estudia Préstamo Postgrado UIE. With it you can cover the costs of tuition and living expenses.
