Program Outcome
The Degree in Labor Relations and Employment provides its graduates with the best skills in the legal, business, statistical, economic, and psycho-sociological techniques necessary to respond to the demands of social conditions inherent to work - placement, training, productivity, conciliation, security, outsourcing, precariousness, labor conflict, unemployment, etc.
At the same time, the careful design of the curriculum aims to transmit a conceptual and practical vision that will allow move comfortably in the different fields of knowledge necessary to understand the connections between professional activity and the other dimensions of work. All this without forgetting the unavoidable ethical dimension of training, which implies socially responsible professional practice and a commitment to the values that inspire human rights, respect for the equality of people, and the principles fundamental principles of decent work, recognized internationally.
In this way, compared to the limited answers to the problems of employment and work offered by other less multidisciplinary degrees, Labor Relations and Employment prepares you to offer global professional answers, based on analyses that take into account The complexity of economic, business, sociological or legal factors takes into account, as appropriate in each case. Given that most of the work and employment activities are related to private companies, the Degree study program emphasizes business training, both at the legal level (Business Law, e.g. .), as well as above all at an economic and management level (human resources management, strategic management, organizational design, accounting, etc.).
On the other hand, the international dimension of employment (for example at a strategic level in the European Union) and labor relations (multinational companies, relocation, etc.) offer very important professional opportunities. From there The study program pays attention to this international dimension, not only with specific subjects but also transversally in the different subjects that comprise it. In addition, knowledge of the English language is reinforced, not only as a subject itself but also as making it possible to study a very relevant part of the studies in that language. We must not forget, in addition, the international student exchange opportunities offered by the Carlos III University of Madrid, make it possible to acquire an international cultural background that is highly sought after in the job market.
