Lecturers are field professionals with a wide experience that, in addition to theory, gives an insight into the world of the particular field. You will have an internship and gain work experience during your studies each year in the spring and summer. You can choose your internship company in Latvia or abroad. Students can also receive ERASMUS scholarships if they participate in an internship abroad.
Employment possibilities
Turiba University has received recognition from employers and is ranked among the most recognized universities. 99.61% of graduates are employed—it is the highest employment rate among Latvian universities; furthermore, more than 80% of university students are working during their studies.
Our alumni work and students are interns in well-known national and international companies and organizations. Tourism faculty cooperates, and graduates are working at Booking.com, Radisson Hotels, Accor Group Hotels, and Kempinski Hotels. Communication alumni are working in the most significant cultural organizations in Latvia, as well as as state and government communications specialists and as PR and communication managers in major national and international companies. Business program alumni are employed as CEOs in different national-level companies (for example, Riga International Airport, TET, Sakret, and many others) and also run their own businesses.
