Introduction
Communications at Trent Durham GTA will provide you with in-demand skills and a strong knowledge base in a program that emphasizes personal support and a strong sense of community. You’ll gain breadth and depth of knowledge as you combine selections from the program with courses from other areas of study to develop a broad knowledge base. With experiential learning a key feature of this program, you’ll learn to apply your knowledge in the workplace to further develop your communication, critical thinking, and writing skills. The program culminates with a final-year capstone project where you’ll work in a group to help a local business with a communication question or strategy. Distinguish your Communications degree at Trent by specializing in Business Communication or Media Relations.
