Industrial design is a process of problem definition, planning, and solving. Parallel to cultural, economic, political and technological movements in society, organizations serving in various sectors are in need of new approaches for creative solutions in order to determine and fulfill the ever-changing necessities for products and services. In recent years, industrial design as a collaborative, interdisciplinary, multi-interactive, and creative problem-solving process has become an important factor for the success of industrial organizations. Industrial designers begin to have more significant roles in framing the interactions of users with products, services, and systems.

TED University Department of Industrial Design (TEDU ID) undergraduate program embraces a user-centered design approach for the betterment of life and puts emphasis on developing the creative and practical problem-solving skills of students. Moreover, TEDU ID aims to improve the capacity for collaboration, teamwork, and co-creation processes which are essential for designers in professional life, and to develop basic skills of the design process such as user-centered research, conceptual product development for defined needs, modeling, prototyping, and evaluating the end product.

Scholarships

100% and 75% scholarship holders will respectively get 20% and 15% waivers for their dorm fees. The waiver will be calculated at the rate of quadruple room.

IELTS is not recognized! TEDU offers its own English Proficiency Exam at the beginning of the Academic Year. After your admission, you can take this exam free of charge.
