As an Industrial and Systems Engineer, you will apply an integrated approach to manage projects and processes for change that will increase quality and productivity using mathematical modeling, data analytics, and information technologies to make the best decisions.
If you have a B2 level of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) you can study this Bachelor with these characteristics:
- Courses taught in English
- Students with a high-performance profile
- Education partners with a transnational profile
- Elite International Guest Professors
- Possibility of taking courses with international students
- Concentrations, Tec Weeks, and Tec Semester in English (optional)
- Earn a Bachelor's diploma upon graduation by meeting the program requirements, in addition to your degree as Ingeniero Industrial y de Sistemas
In order to obtain the Bachelor's diploma you must:
- Study at least the fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth semesters in English
- Demonstrate a C1 level of command of the English language reference to the CEFR, in any of the exams authorized by the Institution
- Have an average equal to or greater than 85 at the end of your studies
The three stages of the model
1. Exploration
- You will open your competency file and add to it throughout your degree program.
- You will learn the foundations of the area of the Built Environment.
- You will participate in fundamental and exploration challenges from the area of Built Environment, interacting with peers from different degree programs.
- You will study general education courses, selecting them from a collection.
- You will participate in a challenge that integrates all the competencies to be developed in this phase.
2. Focus
- You will acquire the core competencies of your degree, in other words, those that distinguish it.
- You will participate in more focused challenges to reinforce what you have learned and broaden your basic knowledge.
- You will have the elements to decide whether to deepen your knowledge or diversify and, subsequently, build your specialization plan.
- The Tec Weeks, challenges, and overall university experiences will enrich your file.
3. Specialization
- You have decided between diversifying or focusing deeply on your major, which you will achieve by choosing a concentration or a stay, to name a few of your options. The TEC Semester is a flexible time to start.
- You will develop the competencies related to your specialization, increasingly connected to your passions, interests, and plans.
- By passing a concentration, you will develop your competencies, and, on graduating, will be a candidate for obtaining a Diploma in that concentration, after meeting the established requirements.
