Introduction

The B.A. degree program is provided for the student who has a general interest in the biological sciences but who does not plan to pursue advanced work in graduate school or undertake professional achievements in biological sciences. This program offers the basic courses for students whose career plans include the biological sciences, public policy or environmental studies.

Completion of BS2400/BS2401-BS2410/BS2411 Basic Biological Sciences I and II and labs, with grades of C or better are prerequisites for upper-division biology courses. A grade of C or better is required in each biology course in order to be credited for graduation.
