The B.A. in Business Administration – International Management and Intercultural Competences has its main focus on subjects in applied business economics with regard to international activity in a company. The course of study prepares students for a management career in internationally operating or internationally oriented companies, regardless of their sector. You will be qualified as an expert in international business, a profession which is much in demand.

The Project Competence course of study at the Steinbeis-Transfer Institut ISW Business School Freiburg has a consistent practical focus and provides a solid educational grounding. You will be prepared for all the requirements needed in a quickly changing, internationally networked business sector. The specialist course International Management and Intercultural Competences is a further consolidation of the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration course of study.

International Management and Intercultural Competences

The course of study is in English. Spanish or French may be chosen optionally. Key qualifications such as IT, Project and Process Management as well as Rhetoric and Communication complete the specific course contents.

A special feature of the three-year course of study is an internship semester in the second and third year of study. These internships are, wherever possible, to take place in a foreign country.

Course of study

The course of study usually takes place over six semesters, and the language of instruction is English. In the first semester, key elements and a broader understanding of the subject, also in relation to specific fields within which future managers will operate, are the focal point. Following on from this are the basic modules and the electives.

The Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration is a state-recognised qualification which is additionally accredited by the FIBAA.
