Introduction
Our bachelor's degree in energy management is a good choice in every respect: As an industrial engineer, you will learn across disciplines and acquire technical and economic knowledge. In this way you meet the requirement profile in a future-oriented industry, especially since the opening of the electricity and gas markets.
Short description:
Energy economists have extensive knowledge in the technical areas, the basics of natural science and engineering, sustainable energy generation and conversion, and energy use. In addition, there is precise knowledge of the national and international energy markets. You will learn how to evaluate energy systems from an ecological and economic perspective and create energy and financing concepts for the rational use of energy in private households and in the operation of industrial plants. As an energy economist, you are a generalist with knowledge of conventional and alternative energies, the technologies used and economic production and use.

Mandatory internships:
The examination regulations prescribe the writing of the bachelor thesis and the company project in a company in the 6th semester. An internship is not necessary for admission before starting the course.
