International Applicants Requirements – Freshmen

Students should submit a copy of their passports to admit@shc.edu.

Letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor or an academic instructor

Secondary school academic records, both in the original language and certified English translation. The original language records must be official school records–sent directly to Spring Hill College by the school–and must bear the official stamp or seal of the school. Certified copies, if sent by the school and bearing the stamp or seal of the school, are acceptable. All foreign secondary school transcripts must be evaluated by an approved evaluation service (by any NACES member organization).

Proof of financial resources showing your ability to cover expenses for your first academic year at Spring Hill College**

*Official test results and a minimum score of 45 on the computer-based TOEFL (SHC’s code is 1733) or equivalent. Duolingo English Test, a minimum score of 75. IELTS, minimum of 5.0

Students applying from other English-speaking countries are required to submit either an ACT or SAT score: ACT 21 or higher score in Writing/English section; SAT 480 or higher score in the writing section.

**Proof of financial resources includes one of the following:

An affidavit of support and a confidential bank statement from yourself, a relative, or a personal sponsor showing that sufficient funds are available.

A sponsorship letter from a government agency, organization, institution, or school.

Admissions Option 2

Starting in 2021, Spring Hill College tuition and fees are reduced from $41,868 to $21,100. Room and board will be reduced by $3,200.
