Introduction
This study program is intended for students who wish to receive a high-quality education and acquire hands-on experience in the domain of economics, which would further enable them to take an active part in the contemporary business environment. As one of the leading and most prestigious higher education institutions in the region, the Faculty of Business in Belgrade boasts four modules:
- Accounting and Auditing - ever since its establishment, the Faculty of Business has been educating experts in the field of accounting and auditing. Modern business systems could not function without experts in these disciplines: accounting is the basis for financial statements prepared for the purpose of decision making, while auditing contributes to enhancing the quality of work process of a company by identifying its weaknesses and flaws and finding ways to overcome them.
- Finance and Banking - taking into account the central role of finance in business growth and development of the overall economy, it can be concluded that there will be a growing need for the experts in this field in the upcoming years who shall be able to contribute to daily business activities and strategic business decision making.
- Marketing and Management - this module is designed in accordance with the demands of the modern market: modern experts in the field of marketing and management need to be well-attained, i.e., communicative, creative and wise in their daily work and strategic business decision making.
- Human Resources Management - Human resources and employee motivation are the key elements for the long-term market survival of an organization, and the creativity and innovation in their implementation has a considerable bearing on the overall quality of relationships with potential clients and consumers of goods and services.
The key aspect of the teaching process at this study program is the use of case study methodology, which allows the students to develop systematic and analytical problem-solving skills through analysis of case studies of successful companies in the country and abroad.
Advanced software in the field of finance and accounting such as SAP, Pantheon, Asseco, Bloomberg, and platform Forex are used in teaching applied economic courses.
Continuous effort of students in acquiring professional business skills (hard skills) and personal business skills (soft skills), enables them to acquire a wide range of skills necessary for successful career development.
Another advantage of this modern study program is the possibility of learning two foreign languages; English is compulsory, whereas the second foreign language is optional: German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese.

Students attending this study program shall have the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge and skills that will enable them to be competitive and make a considerable contribution to the labor market.
All course materials are included in the tuition fee.
The entrance exam for the study program Business Economics includes the following:
- Writing a short essay ( related to the field of Business Economics),
- A brief interview on the candidates’ additional areas of interest.
Upon online registration, the student shall receive optional topics to be discussed during the entrance exam.
Upon successful completion of studies, the students shall be awarded an academic title of Bachelor of Arts in Economics (BA in Economics).
