BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION IN COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS

The Department of Computer Information Systems offers a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems (CIS). Most courses are offered in the traditional, face-to-face format, while some are offered online. The department also has an active internship program with local organizations to gain valuable experience in various information technology (IT) related fields.

The BBA degree in CIS provides a sound foundation in information technology principles and practice enabling our students to find various employment opportunities. The emphasis is on applications of information technologies supporting business needs, rather than the computer itself. Students earning a BBA in CIS can develop web and application development, systems analysis and design, database management, and IT project management. Students are encouraged to include general business, computer art, and many other topics in support of developing a well-rounded study of the information technology field in the application of solutions for today’s business needs.
