Introduction
The Bachelor of Commerce Degree allows students to study international hotel management while providing them with the opportunity to specialise in one of the following business disciplines in NUI Galway: Accounting, Management of Human Resources, Economics, Marketing or Management Information Systems.
Students graduate with two qualifications; a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from NUI Galway and a Diploma in International Hotel Management from the NUI.
Accounting Exemptions
Shannon College graduates of the BBS are eligible to receive exemptions from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), and CPA (The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland).
Postgraduate Studies
Honours graduates of the BComm are eligible to pursue postgraduate studies (including Masters's programmes) in many different academic fields.
