The USAL has grown to this day in the City of Buenos Aires and in its modern Pilar Campus, where in addition to 5,100 students who are studying for thirty-three undergraduate careers, the new Veterinary Hospital was incorporated, a modern establishment for training of its own students, but open to the whole community. Also in 2016, in a land of the Technological District in a project with the Government of the City, began to build the new intelligent building of the Faculty of Engineering, for the training of students and professionals in technical careers, another demand of society and a new contribution of the USAL to the development of the country.

Finally, we cannot fail to mention that the current Pope Francis, the then distinguished student Jorge Mario Bergoglio SJ, emerged from our classrooms, at the Colegio Máximo de San José, from the Careers of Philosophy and Theology, which today is a reason for us. peculiar pride. Nothing speaks more or better of the university itself than its own graduates.
