Facilities to fast-track your career
At SAE, we believe your training should mimic the working world as much as possible. That’s why we offer state-of-the-art facilities at all our campuses and invest heavily in equipment – favoured by professionals – to give you the best hands-on experience.
The equipment will be tailored to our different creative industry courses. From Solid State Logic (SSL) and Neve audio desks to Animation Labs and Dolby Atmos Post-Production Suites. You’ll have the opportunity to try, test and learn so you can master all the technology to set you up for a successful future.

Admissions
International Entry Requirements
International students need to demonstrate equivalence in qualifications and level to meet the standard entry requirement of 72 UCAS tariff points in addition to demonstrating competence in English. Equivalence in qualification for GCSE Maths grade 4 or above is also required for Audio Production and Games programming degree courses.
English Language Requirements
Students whose first language is not English will need a qualification that demonstrates competence in English, equivalent to UK GCSE (Level 2) grade 4 (c) or above.
Equivalent qualifications can be accepted, where these qualifications have been verified by ENIC and are adopted widely within the UK Higher Education sector.
If your qualification does not meet these requirements, we’ll ask for one of the following:
- IELTS (UKVI or Academic) – minimum 5.5 in all components and an overall score of 6.0
Pearson Test of English – minimum 59 in all subscores - Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) – minimum grade C
- Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) – minimum grade B
- TOEFL (IBT or IBT Home Edition online) – 72 overall with the following component
- Listening – 17
- Writing – 17
- Speaking – 20
- Reading – 18
- LanguageCert ESOL examinations:
- International ESOL C1 Expert – pass in all four components
- International ESOL SELT B2 (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) – minimum 33 in all components
- ESOL Integrated Skills in English II – pass in all components
- IELTS Indicator* (online) – minimum 5.5 in all components and an overall score of 6.0
