Introduction
The Major in English provides an overview of the writing of Britain, the United States, the Anglophone world, and beyond. Classes cover a broad range of literatures and cultures from the ancient world to the present day, and prepare students to be sensitive readers and proficient writers in a range of forms.
We offer three distinct paths through the English major:
